Online Anxiety Counseling for Adults

Serving Texas, Florida, and 41 Other States via PSYPACT

Support for the humans whose brains won’t slow down, whose bodies stay tensed, and whose anxiety feels too loud or overwhelming to manage alone.

Let’s be honest

Your brain is doing the most at all hours of the day.

Person experiencing anxiety and overwhelm, representing adults seeking support for chronic worry and overthinking.

I provide online anxiety therapy for adults whose anxiety shows up as chronic overthinking, constant mental noise, physical tension, performance pressure, or feeling perpetually on edge.

You’re overthinking, over-preparing, over-feeling, over-functioning, and over-analyzing and still somehow worrying that you’re not doing enough.

You replay conversations.
You prepare for every possible scenario.
You chase certainty like it owes you money.

Then the spirals hit.

At 11 PM.

At 2 AM.

Or the moment you finally try to relax.

You’re exhausted from living like this.

And while anxiety can feel overwhelming, it doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you or that you’re broken.

If this feels uncomfortably accurate, you’re not the only one.

Why I Truly Understand Anxiety

Clinically, I’ve spent years studying how anxious brains and nervous systems work.

Personally, I live with a neurodivergent, over-achiever-beaver brain that doesn’t come with an off switch.

I know what it’s like when:

  • Thoughts race ahead of reality

  • Rest feels unsafe

  • Pressure triggers physical symptoms

I’ve also had my fair share of performance anxiety, the kind that shows up before public speaking, big moments, major exams… anytime when pressure feels sky-high.

That stomach-drop.
The tight throat making it difficult to swallow.
That what if I fuck this up? spiral.
That feeling of being too exposed, too vulnerable (#vulnerabilityhangover), too visible.

Because I’ve lived it and studied it, I meet anxiety with clarity, compassion, and strategies that work for brilliant brains that think fast and feel deeply.

If your anxiety has been running the show, it’s time for support to reclaim your peace.

What Anxiety Counseling With Me Feels Like

Hand holding a note that says “hello you!” representing compassionate support and encouragement for adults navigating anxiety and emotional overwhelm.

Clients often tell me:
“You catch things I didn’t even realize I was doing.”
“You put words to things I could never name.”
“You help me understand my body, not just my thoughts.”

Therapy with me feels like your nervous system is finally exhaling.

I won’t tell you to “just breathe,” “stop worrying,” or “calm down.”
And I won’t minimize what your nervous system is doing.

Instead, we focus on:

  • Helping your body feel safer so your brain can slow down

  • Making decisions feel less scary

  • Learning emotional regulation tools

  • Calming the nervous system in real time

  • Understanding what’s underneath the anxiety

  • Needing less reassurance over time

  • Interrupting the thought patterns that fuel overwhelm

  • Finding safety beyond constant worst-case planning

“Anxiety is not a pathology. It’s a signal that something in us needs attention.”

Frequently Asked Questions About Online Anxiety Therapy

  • If you’re functioning but exhausted, it’s enough.

If you replay conversations for hours, avoid decisions because they feel too risky, struggle to sleep, or feel like your body is constantly bracing for impact, it’s enough.

You don’t need to be in crisis to deserve support.

I work best with adults experiencing mild to moderate anxiety who are stable, insightful, and ready to change long-standing thought and nervous system patterns. If you’re high-achieving on the outside but internally running on tension and overdrive, this is exactly the kind of work we do.

  • I specialize in anxiety that shows up as:

    • Generalized anxiety and chronic overthinking

    • High-functioning anxiety

    • Performance anxiety (public speaking, exams, leadership pressure)

    • Perfectionism and pressure-driven stress

    • Social anxiety

    • Health anxiety

    • Nervous system hyperarousal (tight chest, racing thoughts, stomach knots)

    • Anxiety connected to ADHD or neurodivergent brains

You do not need a formal diagnosis to work with me. Many of my clients are capable, intelligent adults whose anxiety has simply become too loud to manage alone.

  • This practice does not provide:

    • Crisis or emergency services

    • Care for active suicidal intent

    • Court-ordered treatment

    • Intensive or higher-level care

    • Treatment for unmanaged substance dependence

    • Support for severe, untreated OCD requiring specialized programs

If you’re unsure whether your needs fall within this scope, we can discuss that in a consultation and determine the most ethical next step together.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes via secure video. I provide online therapy to adults physically located in Texas, Florida, and all PSYPACT-participating states where I’m authorized to practice.

    Our work blends:

    • Nervous system regulation

    • Cognitive and behavioral pattern interruption

    • Emotional processing

    • Insight-building

    • Practical skill integration

This is not “just breathe” therapy.
    It’s also not endless venting.

We identify what fuels your anxiety, build internal safety, and practice responding differently in real time. Over time, you’ll notice decisions feel less paralyzing, your body recovers faster from stress, and the spirals lose intensity.

  • Yes! Research consistently supports online therapy as effective for anxiety treatment, and many high-functioning adults prefer it.

You’re in your own environment. There’s less performance pressure. And we can work directly with real-life triggers as they arise.

Anxiety lives in your nervous system, not in a physical office which makes virtual work both practical and powerful.

  • No. I do not prescribe medication.

If medication support may be helpful, I’m happy to collaborate with your prescribing provider. Therapy and medication can complement each other well, but medication is never required to begin this work.

  • I am a private-pay practice.

Payment is due at the time of service. If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.

Many clients choose private pay for increased privacy, flexibility, and the ability to work without insurance-driven diagnostic limitations. We can discuss whether this feels like a sustainable investment during your consultation.

  • It depends on how long anxiety has been running the show.

Many clients begin noticing shifts within the first 6–8 sessions as we regulate the nervous system and interrupt core thought patterns. Longer-standing anxiety often benefits from longer-term work to create durable change.

    The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s a quieter internal experience, more flexibility in your responses, and less fear driving your decisions.
