ABOUT DR. VINCENT

I’m the total opposite of therapists you’ve seen portrayed in TV shows and movies. No head-nodding, passive, “mm-hmm-ing” therapist here! You deserve someone who is committed to helping you begin to see progress on your goals as fast as possible, all while offering compassionate support, a safe space to unpack, organize, and explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am here to provide that empathetic ear, along with encouragement and guidance on your journey.

Therapy with me is like having a casual conversation with someone over your favorite beverage of choice. I’ll ask you about what’s new in your life, how you are liking the book you just told me you were into or how your recent trip was.

I ask because I genuinely want to know about how you are doing in this thing we are all doing called life. I’m not afraid to talk about anything that you may perceive to be hard or awkward AND I don’t shy away from sharing feedback about when you are limiting yourself and getting in your own way.

Clients often describe me as genuine, non-judgmental, and possessing a great sense of humor. My positive energy and relatability make clients feel comfortable, safe, and truly seen in our sessions. I take a down-to-earth approach to therapy, creating a space where vulnerability and openness are welcomed. Instead of solely asking how you feel, I sit with you through emotional pain and discomfort, helping you navigate challenging life situations. I wholeheartedly believe that you are the ultimate expert on your life, and my goal is to help you recognize and embrace that truth throughout our work together.

I’m ready when you are!

I bring a refreshing blend of humor, creativity and authenticity. I believe in creating a space where you can fully express yourself without filters, showing up as your true, authentic self. I use cuss words in sessions, because a colorfully lived life means using colorful language to reflect the depth of our experiences. Get your heart ready for a therapeutic experience that’s anything but cookie-cutter!

From using #hashtags to bring a touch of fun and relevance to exploring topics, to incorporating quotes and other media (e.g., books, podcasts, TikTok’s) for inspiration and reflection; these resources add additional perspectives and insights.

My therapy “superpowers” involves creating a safe and comfortable space for your growth, honoring, and valuing your unique life experiences, empowering you to elevate your mindset and holding space for the information you may not share with anyone else. I offer unconditional acceptance and support, without judgment, meeting you exactly where you are in your journey.
